Your Role At A Glance:
As an Accounting Assistant, your primary duties will be to assist in the day-to-day general bookkeeping and data entry process by preparing payments and monthly electronic funds transfers, entering invoices, reconciling trust accounts, credit cards and monthly billings. We will provide comprehensive training to facilitate your transition into your new role and ensure you understand our industry regulations and procedures correctly. Additionally, you will assist with various aspects of the monthly and yearly audit processes.

The right candidate must balance their schedules and tasks, often working under tight deadlines. A college degree or equivalent bookkeeping experience is necessary for this role, as you will work closely with our lead bookkeeper. You will be privy to sensitive information, so maintaining confidentiality is paramount. Possessing solid attention to detail and taking meticulous notes is a prerequisite in our fast-paced and ever-evolving industry. As you will be using these tools daily, we require you to have a working knowledge of computers and software in this role (including Sage, Word and Excel). Bilingualism would be considered an asset. We would like to hear from you if you have any experience in corporate offices, accounting firms, small businesses, banks and other financial institutions.

Your Role At A Glance:
As a Client Care Specialist within Benefits & Pension, you will use your detail-oriented and task-focused skills to support our clients throughout their customer journey with us from start to finish. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the timely preparation and completion of client renewals and new business cases within our Group Life and Health sectors. In addition, you will manage enrollments and process changes and terminations while calculating new annual premiums and handling requests for quotes and invoicing. We will support your development through mentoring and educating you on our industry regulations and procedures so you can thrive in your new role.

You will be privy to sensitive information, so maintaining confidentiality is paramount. Possessing solid attention to detail and taking meticulous notes is a prerequisite in our fast-paced and ever-evolving industry. As you will be using these tools daily, we require you to have a working knowledge of various office equipment, computers and software in this role (including Microsoft Office Suite and Client Management Databases). Speaking concise and fluent English is essential while being bilingual in both official languages would be considered an asset. Proven work experience in an office setting as an Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role would be beneficial.
